Outreach Team
Immediate Needs:
First, if you’ve reached this webpage because you, or someone you know, needs help:
Sonoma County has a one “stop” resource and referral service available by calling 2-1-1 within our County. 2-1-1 is operated by the Volunteer Center of Sonoma County. They can share information in many areas of need including (but not limited to): Health Care, Low Income Housing, Food, Education, Child Care, Fire Relief, and Clothing. They have an excellent data base online: http://211sonoma.org
Now about what we do as a church to help those in need:

We are a “Five for Five” church and locally, nationally and internationally support:
Our Church’s Wider Mission (OCWM)
and have four special mission offerings per year:

The Christmas Fund

Our Outreach Team hosts regular Advocacy Sundays encouraging members to write their representatives regarding policies/legislation including health, housing food, mental health, etc. These are typically the last Sunday of the month.
The Outreach Team also hosts quarterly forums on social justice issues which affect our community. The focus for 2018 will be HOUSING. We plan to have speakers from the The Family Support Center (with a tour), Tiny Houses, etc. The forums are short, to leave time for lots of questions and answers. A light lunch is typically served.
Last, but not least,Outreach includes Welcoming YOU!
We have room for YOU in our church family. Come visit and see what you think. As our church sign says, “No matter who you are, or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here!” It’s true!
