Thank you for your generous support!

Generosity is a spiritual practice and we are grateful that you are choosing to practice it with First Congregational United Church of Christ, Santa Rosa.

By joining with others who have also been generous, you enable this church to continue its over 125 years history of making our world a more inclusive, peaceful, and just place.

We realize there are many places where you can invest your gifts, so we strive to be good stewards of all of our resources and do as much good as we can, by all the means that we can.

"But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this?

Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.”

1 Chronicles 29:14

Time and Talents

We know that community doesn’t just happen by itself. It has to be nurtured, supported, and brought together. This is true in faith communities, as well.

Fortunately God blesses individual people with a wide variety of talents, knowledge and resources. Our congregation has a number of existing ways in which some of those talents, knowledge and resources can be used, meaning there are a myriad of ways to share these and other gifts.  What have you to share?  What would you like to share?  Are you an artist, a singer or musician, a lover of poetry or books, or wonderful with children?  Do you have special gifts of organization or like working with a committee?  Your unique gifts are important and when you're ready to share them, we're here.

"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of services, but the same Lord;  and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who activates all of them in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good."

1 Corinthians 12: 4-7
