HAPPENING NOW:
Hunger Strike for Sanctuary in Sonoma County
Community members, faith leaders, and advocates have launched a 24/7 hunger strike outside the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors office in Santa Rosa to demand the passage of a Sanctuary Ordinance. Led by the Sonoma County Sanctuary Coalition, this peaceful protest began on Tuesday, August 5th at 9am and will continue indefinitely until county leaders take action to protect immigrant communities from ICE collaboration.
Supporters are invited to join the strike in person, camp overnight, attend key moments like the Board of Supervisors meeting on August 12 at 9:00am, or simply show up in solidarity during the day.
Can't attend? Call your Supervisor and voice your support for a Sanctuary Law.
